MORGION Pulls Out Of MARYLAND DEATHFEST
March 27, 2012Drummer Rhett Davis of the death/doom outfit MORGION has released the following statement:
"It is with great regret that I must inform you all that MORGION must postpone our performance at this year's Maryland Deathfest on Friday, May 25th. Jeremy [Peto; bass/vocals] recently sustained a quite serious neck and back injury, serious enough to where he must undergo surgery and months of physical therapy. Needless to say, we are all very concerned for his health and well-being. We must ask you to be patient with us just a lil' bit longer!I do have to stress this is NOT a cancellation, this is a postponement... Our sincere apologies for this, but the circumstances are quite serious and we hope our fans/friends understand and wish Jeremy a speedy recovery!"
"God of Death & Decay", which features MORGION's earliest recorded material, the "Rabid Decay" and live rehearsal demos as well as the "Travesty" seven-inch single, will be out in the spring via Dark Descent Records. Cover artwork (pictured below) was done by famed artist Mark Riddick.
